Dali's 3rd Birthday - December 10, 2003
"Oh, what's this? MY birthday cake? FOR ME? Yay!!!"	"Oh yummy! What kind is this, Mom? Do I detect some coconut in here?"	"Oh this is fabulous."
"Keep it coming, Mom."	"Im starting to get a bit full. Perhaps Monet can help me now."	"Oh Sir!! Come on over and have some of my strawberry cake with coconut frosting!"

"Coconut frosting you say?"	"Don't mind if I do!"	"Oh yes, correct you are Dali. This is excellent."
"Hey Mom, how about you get out the ol' spoon and hook a good boy up?"	"That's more like it. Mmmm, yum!"	"Mom, come on. Hurry up and keep it coming. You're not fast enough!"

"Gimme that thing. You're not doing it right."

"I'm almost 3 1/2...I'm a big boy now. I can do it myself!"

"Yeah, here we go. Now I can eat at my own pace and chew the end off the spoon. Woohoo!"

Dali's Collar
Poor Dali....he started feather picking around October, 2004. I immediately took him to his doctor at Angell Memorial for tests. It turns out his skin is inflammed, and it appears he is suffering from some kind of allergy which is making his skin itchy and irritated. He was on some meds to start, but those didn't seem to work. The picking got worse over the months, and finally in May of 2005 I had to get him fitted for a collar to prevent him from picking. This way, we could get the feathers to grow back while putting him on new meds and changing his diet to try to find out what is causing his allergy. Here's the poor baby with his insanely huge collar.
"Yeah, this is realy comfortable, Mom" 5/17/05	"I look like an idiot!"	"Mom says if I would stop picking my feathers I wouldn't have to wear this ridiculous thing. In the meantime, I'm going to try to figure a way to rip it off."
