Every night that we go out for an evening of mad beverage and good times, we start out the night by cranking Juicy in the car to start out the evening right, with style n' grace. This is an 11 x 14" portrait I drew of Big Poppa in graphite pencil. I then printed the lyrics to Juicy in a freehand font and matted and framed both to result in a 24 x 36" piece. I made this as Val's 26th birthday gift. |

Dimebag Darrell Abbott of Damageplan, formerly Pantera, was senselessly killed while performing on stage in Columbus, OH on December 8, 2004. I want to pay tribute to Darrell here on this page because Angi and I were fortunate enough to have known Dime and had partied with him many times in the 90's while on tour with Pantera. Dime was by far one of the nicest, most down to earth guys you could ever meet, as is his brother Vinnie. Angi and I were backstage at many Pantera shows all around the country, and it never failed, Dime and Vinnie would be there to meet & greet their fans even when the other band members weren't. Dime loved his music, loved his band, and loved his fans. He will be greatly missed by so many, because he made every person he ever met feel like an old friend. The talent he brought to the heavy metal world will be forever respected and his influence will live on through generations of guitarists to come. He was a great man and a great musician. He will be sadly missed. |
