| Welcome to Spotty's page. Spotty sadly passed away on December 20, 2005. She was 11 years old, born on July 7, 1994. Spotty had been my girl since she was 7 weeks old. Sadly, about 3 years ago I learned Spotty had a brain tumor. She completed radiation treatment at Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston in May of 2003 with the hope that the radiation would reduce the tumor enough to extend her life another year or two. The radiation was successful in shrinking the tumor and gave me another 3 wonderful years with her. She still wasn't the old Spotty, but she was noticeably improved. Spotty was an "only dog" for 6 years before the birds joined our family. She had been everywhere with me ...Florida, Louisiana, Providence, back to Mass...and not to mention all the road trips!! Spotty had always been one of the family as far as our circle of friends is concerned. Spotty was a part of everyone's life and had been for many years, and every one of our close friends has been wonderfully supportive and caring about Spotty's illness. I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who has sent us well wishes, glows, and incredible support. |  |

 I do many pastel paintings, and one night I finished up painting for the day, so I put the painting on the floor of my art room. The next day I walked in only to find Spotty laying on part of the painting. When she stood up I realized the pastels had rubbed off onto her fur. Here she is with pastel all over her!! |
